“A Collector’s Eye — Where Curiosity Meets Craft.”
Welcome to The June Hastings Collection, where antiques and design meet through an appraiser’s trained eye and a collector’s heart. I’m June — a Certified Appraiser (CAGA), Chairish Super Seller, and lifelong seeker of beautiful, well-made things.
My shop features an ever-evolving mix of fine furniture, Asian antiques, lighting, and decorative arts, all chosen for craftsmanship, character, and story. Each piece is carefully inspected, researched, and presented with context — so you can shop not just by style, but by significance.
THE COLLECTOR'S NOTE:
Every object has a past, and uncovering it is half the joy. In my Collector’s Notes, I share the narratives behind the pieces — who made them, how they were crafted, and what they once meant. These insights aren’t academic for their own sake; they deepen the connection between owner and object, turning décor into something with lineage and meaning.
JUNE'S THOUGHTS:
My personal philosophy is simple — the best interiors feel collected, not decorated. I gravitate toward pieces that speak softly but linger long: a sculptural chair, a ceramic with soul, a gilt mirror that catches light just so. I want each find to invite curiosity and feel ready for your home.
THE PRINCIPAL'S PERSPECTIVE:
As an appraiser, I also view antiques through an investment lens. Pieces of fine craftsmanship — whether 18th-century woodwork or mid-century design — tend to hold and often grow in value. Each work here represents both beauty and investment in authenticity and artistry.
When I’m not sourcing, I’m in my garden, caring for my husband and our small army of pets, or sharing design debates with my wise companion, FS Rabbit.
