Vintage Virginia Metalcrafters for Colonial Williamsburg CW 16-3 wall candle sconces crafted of solid brass with pierced shaped backplates, scrolling candle arms and removable two-piece construction. Dating to the 1980s, the pair is based on traditional Colonial Williamsburg lighting forms and carries the Virginia Metalcrafters mark along with the CW 16-3 model designation.
Each sconce features a graceful pierced backplate above a circular molded wall plate and a removable scrolling arm terminating in a single candle cup and broad drip pan. The substantial solid-brass construction and beautifully drawn silhouette are characteristic of Virginia Metalcrafters' better Williamsburg reproductions.
These would be especially handsome flanking a mirror, painting, fireplace mantel or doorway, or used as bedside candle sconces. A pair of battery-operated flameless taper candles is included, allowing the sconces to be used immediately.

The sconces measure approximately 12"H × 4"W × 10"D overall
The backplate measures approximately 10.5"H × 4"W.
