Everything you see in my shop is chosen with an eye towards interior design, quality, and uniqueness. I research extensively to give you the best information I can about each item, and I'm always learning. My style leans towards functional art, post-1950s design icons, original art, and whimsy.
My story:
Although art was seemingly unrelated to my first career as a wildland firefighter, I always fed my interest and education in art and graphic design. I have a particular interest in color theory and artists who pushed boundaries. After retirement, I jumped fully into feeding my creative side through interior design.
To make a home look like a home and not show room, and to bring warmth and personality to modern architecture, I always incorporate original art and vintage items. I do my own sourcing, reserving new-new purchases for a few specific things. In the process, I discovered I have a good eye for finding special pieces to complete a design plan. These curated items (and an occasional piece of jewelry or silk scarf) sometimes make their way to my shop to use in your own space, so you can achieve your creative vision, too.
