Produced by Scandia Present AB (Karlshamn, Sweden) during the 1970s as part of the celebrated Brutalist "Labyrint" series, this bowl is constructed from individual metal ribbons layered and spot-welded at every intersection. Finish is original matte black powder coating in excellent vintage condition.
At 16 inches, this bowl is a significant scale for a dining table or kitchen island. Its open-air matrix makes it a functional fruit bowl or a standalone sculptural object for a variety of design-driven modern decor styles.
