Very good vintage condition with light scuffing and wear consistent with age and use. The fiberglass seat is structurally sound. Fibers are visible, but there are no cracks or chips in the fiberglass. The satin metal legs have some scuffing, minimally visible in situ. Please see close up photos as part of condition report. Shock mounts and feet appear to be original and are in good condition and firmly attached. Several important collector's marks are present for authentication and provenance: Original patent label is present, and dates the chair to 1960-1963. Herman Miller is molded into the fiberglass. Original factory stamp and inspection or batch stamp are present, indicating the chair was made at Cincinnati Milacron, one of Herman Miller’s primary contract molders for fiberglass shells during this era. There is a sticker for Johnson County Library (suburb of Kansas City), providing provenance for the chair's use. less
