Welcome to Clover’s Cottage! We are a collaboration founded on a lifelong appreciation of history, craftsmanship, and the cultural diversity of America. Our journey began in Louisiana, where we bonded over a shared love of antiques, woodworking, and architectural salvage. Over the past twenty years, our partnership has been shaped by experiences ranging from restoring historic properties in Baton Rouge to volunteering with local nonprofits. The heart of our business is named after Clover, a special golden retriever whose warmth and personality continue to inspire our work. Our collection has grown from sourcing unique Louisiana woods, stained glass, mid-century modern pottery, and furniture to developing a broad expertise in history, woodworking, and furniture restoration. Phillip’s background in historic preservation and cultural development, combined with Steve’s knowledge of history and keen eye for eclectic antiques, allows us to transform architectural salvage into functional art for loved ones and clients alike.

Nearly a decade ago, we relocated to North Carolina, eventually settling in Charlotte and acquiring property in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Ashe County. This move marked the official creation of Clover’s Cottage, where we now blend our Louisiana roots with a deep respect for North Carolina culture. Our work incorporates everything from early pottery and Native American baskets to vintage lighting and our woodworking projects, alongside a vast collection of pottery, furniture, art, and unique objects.

Our craft is the culmination of years spent traveling, researching, collecting, and restoring. We remain dedicated to preserving beautiful things and continuing the study of diverse artisanal styles. Best regards, Clover’s Cottage.
