Each side bears the “God’s Eye” cross, with wire or nail fasteners securing the structure. Adding to its charm are black paint lines tracing the weave’s pattern, with faint black paint remnants on the handle. Specialized techniques join the handle and rim, serving both as a sturdy anchor and a decorative touch. The porcupine twist, or curly Q, forms sharp, pointed rows along the basket’s interior. Once possibly stained, its distinctive knot-end design makes it a truly unique piece. See less
