A pair of antique Moe-Bridges wall sconces, crafted in a style characteristic of the company’s early 20th-century designs. Moe-Bridges, a Milwaukee-based lighting manufacturer founded in 1919 by brothers Henrik and O. Moe, produced many fixtures similar to these.
The sconces feature ornate floral and leaf motifs on orange circular backplates, showcasing intricate filigree work highlighted by Moe-Bridges’ signature polychrome accents. Subtle touches of red, green, and blue paint add depth and vibrancy, hallmarks of the brand’s craftsmanship.
Reflecting the Art Nouveau aesthetic for which Moe-Bridges was well known, these fixtures embody the artistic and decorative spirit of early American lighting design during the company’s operation, which lasted until 1934.

The condition is consummate with their age and use with little damage or scratches to the polychrome finish; there are no dents to the metal, finish or paint on the pieces. The plastic candle sleeves are original and have some cracks, damage and decolorization.
