Authentic Japanese cloisonné enamel cabinet vase from the Meiji Period (1868–1912), crafted in the renowned Nagoya workshop style.
• Asymmetrical Design: Spiraling diagonal panels featuring a finely detailed multi-colored Hō-ō (Japanese Phoenix) among chrysanthemums on a pale olive-green background.
• Aventurine Shimmer: The contrasting midnight-green panels are heavily suffused with brilliant gold dust aventurine (chakin-seki), creating a stunning metallic sparkle under light.
• The Base: Finished with a traditional textured, light-green counter-enamel base set within a thick bronze foot rim. Unsigned.
• Size: Stands 7 inches tall—an ideal, highly collectible cabinet size.
Condition: Outstanding antique condition with an immaculate mirror-polished sheen. No major enamel losses or heavy impact damage. Please review all high-resolution photos to evaluate the fine wirework and base.
