About Fitz and Floyd: The company was founded in Dallas, Texas in 1960 by Pat Fitzpatrick and Bob Floyd, and became known for hand-painted ceramic tableware and decorative pieces with a whimsical, chinoiserie-inspired flair. Production in the company's early decades was in Japan, as the base stamp on this 1975 vase shows.
