1990's One-of-a-kind, checkered-cow-suede room divider. There are three, double-sided, articulating panels; one side of the divider has a checkered design … more 1990's One-of-a-kind, checkered-cow-suede room divider. There are three, double-sided, articulating panels; one side of the divider has a checkered design and the other side of the divider is monochromatic. The suede colors are Vintage white and light tan. The monochromatic side is the same light tan as the checkered side. This vintage item is approximately 30-years-old and handmade in England. It was a pre-production Sample from an interior design firm; and there was only ever one of them made. This room divider would look fabulous in a wide range of interior spaces from eclectic maximalism to organic modernism.

This item is in good condition. It's made of a soft and durable natural cow suede, although the material shows some signs of age. You will find some subtle discolorations along the corners, edge and where the hinges meet the suede; there's also a slight seam split on one corner-- please see photos carefully. Gentle foxing throughout and a mysterious 4.5 inch surface blemish (on the monochromatic side) highlighted in the photos. Overall the piece is striking and in attractive condition.
