Lovely vintage four-panel folding screen, depicting a peaceful landscape scene with Sparrows and Bamboo Trees. Unsigned. Watercolor and ink on silk. Silk border. Lacquered black wood frame with engraved copper corners, showing age patina. Paper, and four Asian style brass hangers on back. Very good condition for age - minor age wear on hinges, few minor stains and some foxing, minor repair on two hinges on the back, strong hinges, sturdy. Please look at the images. Probably Hong Kong, circa 1950-1960s.
