Lovely Shōwa Era 4-Panel Japanese Byobu (folding screen) "Cherry Viewing" by Japanese artist Tanaka Ohen, depicting scene with dancing people, sakura and mountains on background. Signed and sealed by the artist. Comes with Notarized Certificate of Authenticity from Japan. Gouache, watercolor and ink on rice paper. Silk border. Lacquered black wood frame with engraved copper corners and medallions. Paper on back. Japan, Shōwa Era, 1985. Excellent condition - minimal age wear overall, no damage to the painting or back, strong hinges, clean, sturdy.
