The composition unfolds across all six panels in a continuous waterfront village scene, featuring elegant pavilions, tiered rooftops, flowering trees, and distant mountains rendered in soft, atmospheric tones. The painterly detail — from the shaded roof tiles to the textured blossoms and architectural line work — reflects the influence of classical Qing Dynasty court paintings and traditional landscape scrolls.

The artwork is executed on paper mounted to substantial 0.75" thick wood panels, giving the screen an impressive weight and presence.
