Search the internet, you won't find this limited piece by the British glass maker. Created in the 1960s, the Scandinavian inspired vase had a limited production run. Whitefriars furnaces have been burning since 1680. The works were established by a monastery of Carmelite Fathers. Their white habits inspired the townspeople to call them white friars. The vase represents a time when ancient tradition met modern ideals. Time honored craft and a new approach to design exist here in a beautiful union. See less
