A striking pair of mid-century Chinese Peking glass vases featuring vibrant yellow overlay decoration carved against an opaque white ground. Each vase is adorned with flowering stems, leaves, and a butterfly in flight. While the pattern is matching, the butterfly motif appears on opposite sides, creating a pleasing mirrored effect when displayed together.
The vivid yellow overlay and elegant baluster form make these vases beautiful decorative accents for chinoiserie, Hollywood Regency, grandmillennial, or eclectic interiors. Both retain their carved wood display stands, which complement the bright glass and elevate their presentation.
