Classic piece of pottery from the Heino studio, circa 1996.
Wonderful, wheel thrown, squat form vase....truly a trademark shape for Otto Heino (1915-2009). This piece appears to be wood fired stoneware and features dark brushwork against an earthy tan/orange ground.
Measures 5.75"x 5.75"x 5". In excellent, as made condition with production variations to the glazing, no chips or cracks. Signed Otto to the base and dated 96.
