The … Read more This mid-century studio stoneware bud vase has a beautiful sculptural form and a surface that really draws you in. The shape is simple and elegant, with a rounded body and narrow neck, but the carved bands wrapping around the vase give it a lot of texture and movement. The glaze palette of olive, cream, and warm brown feels very much in line with Scandinavian or French studio pottery of the period.

What makes it especially appealing is the balance between structure and warmth. The repeated carved decoration gives the piece a strong geometric look, while the earthy glaze and subtle variation across the surface keep it feeling organic and handmade.
