Our passion at Silver Hippopotamus is to discover authentic industrial/modern artifacts and create furniture and home accessories with patina of age, strength of construction and simplicity of design. The other side of our business is original artwork by Elizabeth Scanlon Melfi, ES Melfi Art. She specializes in modern abstract acrylic paintings that are paired with beautiful vintage frames. The juxtaposition of our unique vintage furniture with beautiful modern art is truly a distinctive combination.
