These two pieces are a gorgeous example of mid century style. Very intricate carving to the manes of these animals. They look wonderful together or placed individually in any curated interior space. Very substantial weight. Originally intended as bookends yet they transcend that use into a piece of sculpture. The horses are carved all the way around the head so there is not a flat area to detract from the artistic quality these equestrian artifacts. See less
