Each one has it's own special look. Putti are figures of young boys commonly found in European art, particularly during the Renaissance and Baroque periods. They are carrying a decorative woven basket with detailed flowers of warm yellow, cobalt blues and teal greens. The detail is really extraordinary. There is a repair to the head of one of the putti and the price reflects that repair. The bowl has number #1002 on the bottom as well as other marks. The bowl, called a jardiniere can be used for many decorative purposes. Such a fun whimsical, Hollywood Regency sculpture. The artist that is connected with this piece is Wilhelm Suss from Germany.
