Was purchased from the estate of a retired professor of history who collected artifacts. The photo of the handwritten tag was found on this piece indicating it was a Colonial Nigerian Ibo sculpture. Her face and stomach are adorned with graphic designs and her headdress is intricately carved. She seems to be holding two items in her hands. This sculpture could also be depicting the wish for abundance within a family. A beautiful piece for any collection. See less
