We all find inspiration in different places, at different times and in different circumstances. This piece portrays the message of inspiration in the darkness during meditation. Sometimes an entirely new thought, new solution or new image comes to our mind when we can quiet it enough to allow new answers to come forward. Vintage textile threads were used to create pockets of textural groupings, laid out in a grid pattern across the canvas. The canvas depth is four inches and the textural black pockets add another 2 inches of depth to the piece which really creates a statement on the wall. The inner gold shape, metal plate and coil represent the moment creative inspiration. The entire canvas was resined to create a modern statement that would add unique design to any space. See less
