Tau the Temple Clock's Story:

One day, as I trekked through the jungle of auction furniture, I found myself in a sunlit clearing, face to face with a giant intricate temple. The temple was thick with dust. In some places the light refracted through drips of varnish that appeared like ancient amber on the wooden surface. As I turned the corner and looked at the temple face on, it was if time had stopped. Literally. In the center of the building, all that remained was a torn paper sticker showing a section of a clock face; a remnant of a forgotten past. I had never seen anything like it. There was no way I was going to let this beautiful artifact languish unappreciated in the jungle any longer.

After thorough cleaning, sanding and multiple coats of matte black paint, the detailed skeleton of the temple began to show. Every tiny hand sawn curve, every pin and pillar was highlighted and honored. At last, the little bell at the very top of the temple got a fresh coat of golden paint. The final touch was the addition of a brand new metal clock face and clock hands connecting to a mechanism elegantly hidden within the tower. As the second hand began it’s circular path once more, the temple, named Tau, was brought back into the present. See less
