Dating from the 1920s or 1930s, this vase embodies the vibrant aesthetic of the Art Deco era. The piece features a striking spherical or "orb" shape crafted from rich, red cased glass, likely with a white interior casing, creating a brilliant, saturated color. The exterior is adorned with an intricately hand-applied black glass "web" or "drizzle" pattern, providing a bold contrast and tactile texture. As expected with antique glass, there may be minor signs of age-appropriate wear or occasional small air bubbles inherent in the hand-blown manufacturing process, which only add to its authentic character.
