An impressive and highly decorative vintage Royal Delft baluster vase and cover, expertly hand-painted in traditional cobalt blue on a white ground. The ribbed baluster-form body is richly adorned with an intricate chinoiserie-inspired scene featuring a majestic peacock among flowering branches, accompanied by birds, insects, and delicate botanical motifs.

The shoulders are embellished with elegant ruyi motifs, while the vase rests on an octagonal foot decorated with finely painted geometric and foliate band motifs. The matching cover is similarly decorated, completing the harmonious design.
