Large vintage French woven willow/wicker travel storage basket trunk with braided rim details and handles, sturdy woven bottom with lift up trunk lid. No maker's mark. Beautiful vintage
condition, wear consistent with age and use. Would make a wonderful blanket chest at the foot of a twin bed or coffee table.
Styling Suggestions:
1. Style tucked under a console to store extra blankets, pillows, shoes, or toys
2. Stack European breadboards on top in a kitchen and place under a found kitchen island table.
3. Use as a table in a reading nook to place a lamp with a textured minimalist shade.

Excellent Vintage Condition, very clean. Shows signs of wear and patina consistent with age. Only two pieces of willow that have a break, shown in the photo, on the top of the lid. Very sturdy.
