Authentic Somerset Bay painted storage box on stand in a deep blue finish. The piece features a hinged lid, warm wood interior, metal lid-support chain, antique-brass-tone side handles and a decorative key escutcheon. Its compact proportions allow it to function as an end table, occasional table or decorative storage chest.
The construction closely corresponds to Somerset Bay’s Augusta Box on Stand, model SB131. The box, hinges, chain support and handles are fully functional. The original key is not included. Minor finish wear and small surface scuffs are visible in the photographs.
