Initially called Brad's Drink, a cola-based drink with claimed thirst-quenching and digestive properties. In the same year the drink was renamed Pepsi-Cola, a name deriving from the term dyspepsia (dyspepsia) and from the caffeine-containing nut, fruit of the cola tree, used in the recipe. In 1903 Bradham founded the Pepsi-Cola Company.
