The chest is made of thick wooden planks, nicely assembled. Apart from the crosspieces, the wood is painted with a thick layer of eggplant brown paint. The trunk is nicely patinated by use, which gives it a lot of luster and depth. The wood is healthy, in good condition. The trunk has two beautiful leather handles on its sides. Patina and traces of use are present and contribute to the charm of the piece.
