The piece feels like a plaster, pottery type of material and has a hand-made, rustic, antique feel to it. It is unsigned so difficult to tell how old, but I would say at least from the early mid-century. The angel is wonderfully dressed in flowing fabric with a simple scalloped collar. The painted finish also feels old and this looks like a piece you would see in a church in Spain. I have placed it on a pedestal to give you a bit of scale, as she's a showstopper at . The bottom has a felt lining. I would keep indoors, but may do fine on a patio or outside. It has a nice weight, but I believe it's hollow inside. Colors are earthy and natural. See less
