A large, one-of-a-kind display combining antique and vintage pieces with a haunted fictional story of two sisters, missing pearls, and a mysterious death.

The aged travel trunk features wood slats, a canvas-covered exterior, and decorative metal hardware. Its construction was previously estimated to date from the 1920s–1940s, with a possible United States or Canadian origin.

Inside are two porcelain dolls, including a Franklin Heirloom doll by The Franklin Mint, estimated from the 1980s–1990s. The accompanying information identifies Taiwan as its manufacturing origin. The second doll’s maker, country, and exact production date remain unidentified.

Repurposed lace from a Kenneth Winston wedding gown, previously estimated from the 1990s–early 2000s, adds delicate floral detail. A vintage green glass gum turpentine bottle bears the genuine label of Turpentine & Rosin Factors, Inc., listing Jacksonville, Florida, and Savannah, Georgia, U.S.A. Its suggested date is 1920s–1940s

Faux Pearl strands, a small wooden jewelry box, dried floral accents, warm light strands, and five flameless candles complete the scene. Created, aged photographs, a handwritten note, and a newspaper-style clipping dated 1909 tell the accompanying fictional story.
