Engelman was a well-respected, classically-trained poster artist and graphic designer who lived and worked in Milan and Paris. A multi-talented man, he created lithographs, woodcuts, etchings, posters and paintings. Many of his works dealt with surrealism and topics (and creatures) that appealed to surrealists - wind-spirits, nymphs and non-human non-animal creatures.
This exhibition poster is in excellent condition and was printed in Paris by Les Presses Artistiques.
