The bowl is designed with a central starburst encircled by a floral and leaf motif that surrounds the piece. The intricate cut to clear design is highlighted by a deep cobalt blue overlay. The fitted silver rim has two hallmarks, a city assay hallmark and the Diana hallmark used in 1872.
