These bowls are from the Spode Archive Collection Jasmine first introduced in 1825. These pasta bowls are reproduced from a hand engraved copper plate. The "Mixed Colors" series was specifically curated to blend together elegantly, showcasing historical designs originally engraved in the early 19th century:
• Yellow Ground: Typically features the "Jasmine" floral pattern (just like the piece in your photo).
• Light Blue Ground: Often paired with the "Jasmine" or "Sunflower" arrangements.
• Pink/Rose Ground: Features either "Jasmine" or the dense "British Flowers Poppy" design.
• Mint Green Ground: Frequently showcases the "Jasmine" or "Rosa" motif.
• Lavender/Purple Ground: The rarest of the core pastel backdrops, showcasing classic botanical frameworks. These would pretty and durable to use and fun to collect. These pasta bowls were done in 1996-2000.
