An elegant vintage chest of drawers by Victoria Baar from the 1970s. The piece captivates with its striking combination of a dark brown wooden frame and cream-white surfaces, as well as its exceptionally clean, geometric lines.
The dark frame encloses the body like an architectural structure and flows seamlessly into the four slender legs. The two large, cream-white doors with softly rounded corners sit almost flush with the frame and are each opened with a small, round metal knob. The visible wood grain of the frame provides a beautiful contrast to the calm, light surfaces.
Behind the two doors is a generous storage space with a continuous shelf that divides the interior into two levels.
The rounded corners, slender proportions, and strong light-dark contrast give the sideboard a timeless character that blends Mid-Century Modern, 1970s Modern, and Space Age styles.
Condition: Very nice and well-maintained vintage condition with minor signs of age and use.
