Figural mantel or desk clock depicting a young girl accompanied by ducks beneath a tree shaped clock support. Produced circa 1908–1925, the design combines Art Nouveau and Jugendstil influences with Rococo Revival elements, evident in the organic tree structure, scrolling ornament, whorl feet, and naturalistic figural composition. The dial is marked "Made in U.S.A." and the movement bears patent dates of October 8, 1907 and December 15, 1908. Constructed in gilt bronze or bronze-finished cast metal, the clock reflects design characteristics associated with early twentieth-century Continental Art Nouveau while representing American production. The child figure, waterfowl motifs, and sculptural tree support create an integrated decorative composition characteristic of the period.
