The elegant oval form is complemented by molded side handles, a scalloped pedestal foot, and a domed lid with an integrated loop finial.

This piece was acquired with an envelope identifying it as “Adams & Son, Staffordshire, Flow Blue, 1850–1880.” While no maker’s mark is present on the tureen, the form and decoration are consistent with English Staffordshire flow blue production of the late Victorian era.

Equally at home in a collection of English transferware, on a dining table, or displayed in a blue and white cabinet, this tureen offers timeless decorative appeal and classic English craftsmanship.
