Ornate Antique European (Likely French) Rococo Mantel Clock Case Only, no clock included.
Appears to be Gilt over Brass or another heavy metal.
Was purchased from an antique store and they listed it as being from late 1880’s to possibly 1900. At this time I do not have any additional info regarding provenance or brand.

There are areas where the gold coating or gilding has been rubbed off. It is possible there was a repair to the top finial but it’s difficult to say for sure as it is slightly tilted off center and has some patina at the bottom. There is also a black spot on top of the finial that may be a bit of paint. less
