This singularly exquisite maple single slab table is design no. 4931 from Urban Hardwoods, based in Seattle, Washington. The company constructs one-of-a-kind heirloom furniture made from sustainably reclaimed hardwood slabs. Defining features of the table include a single dramatic cleft, 1.5 in wide at the edge that extends 10 in into the table top, a second much smaller 2-in cleft, 8 asymmetrical lobes that gives the table an amoeba-like shape, and 2 symmetrical rows of 7 surface slash fissures. The tree's unique story of endurance through many seasons is reflected in the top's distinctive variegated ring pattern.
Dimensions: 30 in wide x 26 in deep x 16 in high. Slab is 6 in thick.
