A charming late 19th-century French bedside table, pair available.
The piece is raised on slender cabriole legs terminating in shaped feet, the frieze formed with a softly arched apron typical of French provincial furniture of the period. The open-fronted compartment sits beneath a tray-form top with raised side galleries, making it both decorative and practical as a bedside table or small occasional stand. The proportions are light and elegant, and the original wood is in excellent condition.
