Broad fan-shaped ears, expressive eyes, long wooden tusks, and a curled trunk give the elephant a delightful personality, while braided trim outlines its decorative saddle blanket and tail.

An oval tray with a raised woven gallery rests above the elephant’s back, providing a practical surface for drinks, books, or a favorite decorative object. The elephant stands on a rectangular wicker-covered plinth, giving the piece a balanced, substantial silhouette. Its honey and straw tones bring inviting texture to a room without overwhelming the surrounding furnishings.

The whimsical animal form recalls the woven creations of Mario López Torres, while its tropical character complements Hollywood Regency, coastal, bohemian, and British Colonial interiors. It would feel equally at home among the wicker, patterned fabrics, and collected accessories associated with Sister Parish and the colorful decorating of Celerie Kemble.

A distinctive accent beside a sofa or lounge chair, this table offers both useful surface space and a memorable decorative presence. Particularly lovely in a sunroom, reading corner, or layered living room.
