The rectangular top provides a generous and practical surface, while two central drawers beneath offer useful concealed storage. Both drawers retain their original brass handles, complementing the warm tones of the oak and preserving the period character of the piece. The table is raised upon boldly turned barley-twist supports, one of the most distinctive features associated with Jacobean Revival furniture.
