Small William and Mary style chest with fine mahogany and burl veneers and banding.
The chest has 5 drawers with burl veneers surrounded by herringbone banding. There are also matched burl veneers on the top. There are locks on the drawers but no key.
It's an exquisite piece for use in a guest room or as an accent in your living room, hall or den.
MADE in England, late 20th C.
NO MARKINGS. Manufacturer unknown.
MEASUREMENTS 30-1/4" x 17" x 31-1/4" tall
Very good pre-owned condition. Some rough spots and wear on the top.
No chips, cracks or breaks.
There is not any missing veneer. There is light color veneer and dark color veneer.
The maker intended this piece to look old.
