Elegant French lead crystal centerpiece bowl featuring a finely cut diamond pattern and a richly detailed 24K gilt bronze (ormolu) rim and handle. The ornate double-scroll handle, adorned with acanthus leaf and dolphin-inspired motifs, arches gracefully above the bowl — a hallmark of French Empire and Neoclassical Revival design.
The crystal base is marked “Cristal au Plomb, Doré à l’Or Fin 24 ct,” indicating genuine lead crystal gilded with fine 24-karat gold. The piece beautifully captures the refined craftsmanship and timeless elegance of mid-20th century French decorative arts.
