Large Robert Hardgrove Abstract Organic Hand-Carved Wood Sculpture
Offered for sale is a monumental abstract organic hand-carved wooden sculpture signed by the sculptor Robert Hargrove. The artist laminates different woods and carves his works from those created wood pieces. The results are stunning when they reveal unusual grain patterns. The sculpture is signed on the base as shown. This sculpture is reminiscent of the work of the British artist Brian Willsher. It is reminiscent of the St. Ives School style and the works of artists Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth.
