The bonheur du jour has a brass gallery around the top, above a central mirror, flanked by Sèvres plaques. This piece has two cupboards, each with decorative ormolu and Sèvres plaques above three drawers. The centre of which opens to reveal a writing slide with a gold tooled leather surface. Below this is a single shelf, backed by a mirror above a further shelf. The bonheur du jour stands on small turned feet and is in good original condition, with minor wear commensurate with age and use. Measures: Width 48.5", depth 22", height 57". See less
