HEY LADIES…. Well… Gentlemen TOO!!! LOL… Check this out!! This is a lovely ladies writing desk composed of a wonderful walnut frame featuring intricately incised hand carvings, prominent burlwood panels, a single drawer bearing beautiful brass hardware or escutcheons and a center keyhole with a working skeleton key, a carved apron below the center of the drawer, and a FABULOUS black faux leather work surface. It is HANDSOME, to say the least!! And… this beauty is supported by distinctive trestle style legs assembled with turned posts, geometric fretwork, and incredible carved details with a structural stretcher between the legs of the base featuring a hand carved decorative center detail. WOW!!! It exudes a signature Eastlake Victorian style with a Gothic Revival flair that will be gorgeous among many décor styles including Asian and Mid-Century Modern. If you aren’t aware… Victorian pieces blend BEAUTIFULLY with Mid-Century Modern pieces… there’s just enough of a juxtaposition that it absolutely WORKS! And, although OBVIOUSLY it is going to be the perfect desk option in your home office, study, den, or dorm room…this baby could pull double-duty and serve wonderfully as a nightstand in a Victorian style bedroom or as an end or accent table in your living or family room! Gorgeous style aesthetic, high quality craftsmanship, and versatility! This walnut, burl, brass, and faux leather vintage ladies writing desk has it ALL!!! What are you waiting for?? Make it YOURS!!!
