After doing lots of research, I found that the characteristics of this piece, including condition, look like his earlier pieces. Authenticity often lies in imperfections. It features a rounded shape, tessellated in lacquered goatskin. The corked lid top, spout, handles and top band are made of brass or chromed metal (which came into use in 1924.) The bucket interior appears to be insulated.
Aldo Tura was an Italian designer renowned for his unique and eclectic furniture and barware, which combined a variety of styles including Art Deco, Art Nouveau, Baroque, Surrealist, and modernist influences. Born in 1909, Tura established his furniture production house in 1939 in Lombardy, Italy.
