My love for Twiggy goes back to my childhood in the 1960s when I looked at my mother's Vogue magazines and she wore the top designer's fashions. I made my own paper doll cutouts featuring Twiggy and I would copy the clothes in the magazines.
I was inspired to paint this in black and white watercolor and gouache based on old photos of
Twiggy.
The second photo shows an idea for framing. The frame is not included in the purchase. Also see another portrait of Twiggy paired with this one and it is also available in another listing here on my shop.
